Here I am with my family on my wedding day. Here is my dad, mom, me, my husband Evan, my sister Mary, and my brother Tom.
Yes, I may be the shortest of the siblings, but I am the oldest. My younger sister Mary is in the middle and then there is my younger brother Tom.

Ahoy! I am western New York native that has moved to the nice warm, sunny South! I was born and raised in Jamestown, NY, a city about 75 miles south of Buffalo, NY. While living up north and after graduating high school and college, I substituted in various school districts. After visiting NC and returning to the cold winter of western New York, I realized that the South was for me. I moved here in June 2005 and although I miss my family, I love every minute of living here! In November 2010, I earned my National Board Certification in Literacy For my first 11 years of teaching, I was in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, Charlotte NC. Here I taught 1st, 2nd, and 4th Grade along with small group reading at Hidden Valley Elementary and was also an ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher at Hickory Grove Elementary. After becoming engaged in December 2015 to my fiance (Evan), we decided for me to make the move and join him in Wake County to be closer to his family. We live in Fuquay Varina and love exploring all parts of Wake County. This is my third year at OCE and with year round on Track 2. I'm loving every minute of it and can't wait to work with all of you! If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to call, stop by, or email!
